This marks my first post of my senior year. Before I get into specifics, I'm Just going to run through the summer thus far.
It started in early June when I went to Summer Seminar at the Naval Academy. The experience itself was awesome, but what really sealed the deal for me were the people. So many kids in one place that were all just like me was just amazing to see. I feel like I connected more with my roommates Brogan McMillan and Clay Pratt more than I connected with some of my friends back home in Rochester. The second to last day of summer seminar was sea trials/Indoc. Sea trials is 7 hours of continuous physical activity. This isn't the soft, jogging around, light physical activity that you would expect. It was the "I am so exhausted right now I can't believe that there are still 3 hours left" kind.

After Sea Trials we had a few minutes to recover before Indoc Started. It was nuts. We stood at attention for 30 minutes while the Youngsters screamed at us. Other than that It is hard to explain. It was just fun.
I made a lot of new friends and I wish I could have just stayed. This camp has really made me certain that I want to go to the Naval Academy more that any other school.
