Recap

So over the past few weeks:

I had the team camp that I mentioned in the previous post. Then following that was a week of conditioning camp which included miles and miles of running, a lot of jumping, push ups, planks, and very little soccer. After a few days off we started tryouts and 2 a day practices. So that means 2x 2hour sessions every day for 6 days straight. We did a timed 2 mile run on the track and I ran it in 12:45. Since then we have done a pool session where we did treading water with weight, without hands, swimming, pool muscle ups, and lung busters. A few day ago we did the infamous Cobb's Hill run.

1.4 mile run
6x .7 mile run(6:30 pace)
11x 100m hill sprints
1x 200m hill sprint
1.4 mile run

On average we have been running around 10 miles a day during the 2 a day sessions but as the season has begun it is closer to 4 miles. We had our first game on wednesday. A 2-1 win over one of the better teams in section V. I played some but not what I was hoping. I'm not worried about time on the field this year. My time will come to play.

As for the sudden post, I have been swamped with summer homework and I am really trying to just enjoy what few days I have left. Will post more frequently once school starts.

Spartan race next weekend. Stoked and ready to crush the competition. There's going to be no contest.
